Botox/ Dysport®

Both Botox and Dysport® are widely regarded for their fast-acting nature. The majority of patients see visible and natural looking improvements within 2-3 days, with day 14 generally being maximum effect. Results generally last between 3-4 months. However, every patient is unique and our staff will always individually assess your situation and give you a more specific timetable upon assessment and application.

Anyone with neuromuscular disorders such as muscular dystrophy, or any muscular diagnosis is generally advised not to receive Botox or Dysport®. We also do not advise it for anyone that is currently breastfeeding or pregnant. Our staff will always run through any and all concerning medical conditions you may have to ensure the best medical decision is made and that they are comfortable before administering.

No. Botox and Dysport® are neuromodulators that relax the muscles to help with fine lines and wrinkles. While Fillers essentially fill spaces to provide desired results such as move voluptuous lips, a more defined jawline, or increased volume in your cheeks.

There is no standard dose as there are a lot of factors (such as muscle movement and whether or not you've received Botox or Dysport® in the past) involved in how much would be required to obtain desired results. Crow's feet for example in one person may only require 2 units, while in another 12-15 units. Our trained staff will always fully assess your situation and ensure you are comfortable before administering.

All medical and cosmetic procedures come with a degree of risk. Potential side effects include pain, swelling at the injection site, headache, dryness and muscle weakness. Side effects are very rare, and our fully-trained staff works with the utmost care to minimize the chances of any unpleasantries.
